A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM Saturday March 29, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown for Lance H. Bromley, 64 of Canfield who went into our Savior's arms, with peace, love, dignity and strength after a 4 year fight against cancer, surrounded by his family. Lance was born March 15, 1950 in Canastota, New York, the son of the late James S. and Marcia E. (Ball) Bromley. Alumni of Bolton Central High School, class of 1968 and the State University of New York at Albany. Graduating in 1972 with his Bachelors degree furthered credentials, receiving a certification of Credit and Financial Analysis through Dun and Bradstreet. Planning to retire from a successful career with Navistar/GE capital. Lance loved life and people, was always putting others needs above his own. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Burden Lake Country Club in New York, the Mahoning Valley Golf League and the Millcreek 2 o'clock League where he never missed a game. Lance had a goal of playing golf in every state and was able to accomplish his goal in 38 of them. As a golfer, he had 2 - hole in one. Lance loved playing golf on every course, but his heart belonged to the prestigious Sagamore Golf Course in Lake George, NY. Besides golf, he also loved to be by the water, travel and spend time with his family and friends. Lance leaves his wife the former Sandra Mencucci whom he married June 18, 1977. Three children Bethany A. Bromley of Charlotte, NC, Chad H. Bromley of Naples, FL, and Amanda (Bromley) Frederick and her husband Shawn of Boardman, three grandchildren Harper A. Frederick, Bryce J. Bromley, and Jake L. Bromley. Lance also leaves two brothers-in-law, Daniel W. Mencucci and his wife Linda of Delanson, NY, and Rick Mahoney of Underhill, VT, a sister-in-law, Dawn (LaGoy) Bromley of Bolton Landing, NY, two aunts, Erma Jean (Ball) Jones and her husband Ron, and Geraldine (Ball) and her husband Harold, as well as nieces and nephews, Lacey Bromley of Buffalo, NY, Jeremy Bromley of Long Island, NY, Molly Mahoney of Boston, MA, Kevin Mahoney of Burlington, VT, Tony (Paula) Mencucci of Macedon, NY, and Daniel (Sierra) Mencucci of Seattle, WA, and all his fellow golfers. Besides his parents Lance is proceeded in death by a sister Adele M. Mahoney and a brother Jerry H. Bromley. Friends may call from 5 PM to 8 PM Wednesday March 26, 2014 at the Lane Family Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. Services will be Saturday 11 AM March 29, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown 201 Wick Avenue Youngstown, Ohio 44503 . There will also be a memorial service in Lake George, NY at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial tributes be made to Silver Lining Fund C/O The Hope Center for Cancer Care or The Hope Lodge in Cleveland in Lance's name. Lance's family would like to especially thank Dr. Chris knight and the staff at The Hope Center for Cancer Care, MVI Hospice Care, University Hospitals in Cleveland and his multiple friends and family who provided thier love, care and support during Lances courageous battle. "If you are doing something positive everyday of your life, moving forward and giving it all you've got; you are living your life. If you beat yourself up and let the negative take control; you are letting life pass you by" Lance H. Bromley
