Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Larry S. Pohuski, 67, who died late Saturday night at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born December 22, 1943 in New Brighton, PA, a son of Steve and Henrietta (Reese) Pohuski. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during the Cuban missle crisis. He worked as an assembler at Packard Electric Corp. in Warren for 30 years before retiring in 2001. He was also a photographer and owned Larry's Photography for many years. He was at one time the photographer for the Mineral Ridge Fire Department. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing. He also liked to play the guitar. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Wilma "Lee" Brown, whom he married June 1, 1985. He also leaves behind three children; Brenda Dillon of Elwood City, Todd (Becky Badger) Pohuski of New Brighton, and Jason Pohuski of Niles; a brother, Rodney (Patti) Pohuski of New Galilee; two grandchildren; Carl John and Ashley Dillon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marlene Weimer. Friends may call from 4-7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
