CANFIELD-Laszlo “Lou” Kiss, 69 of Canfield, passed away at 4:50PM Saturday, December 26, 2009 in his home. Lou was born January 5, 1941 in Budapest, Hungary the son of the late Janos and Luiza (Sumner) Kiss. Lou retired after 38 years with General Motors where he was a Salvage Repairman. He enjoyed collecting miniature cars which he would race often, boating and fishing. Lou was the most loving husband, father, brother and caring grandfather and will be sadly missed by his wife the former Juanita Workman whom he married October 3, 1964; a son John David (Faith Roth) Kiss of Nashville; a sister Millie (Paul) Dourm of Mineral Ridge; a brother Donald (Janice) Workman of Parma; and five grandchildren Scott, Deanna, Anthony, Tabatha and Robert. Besides his parents, Lou was preceded in death by a daughter Dianna Lou Noble on February 23, 2008. Calling hours will take place on Friday, January 1, 2010 from 5 until 8 PM in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and again on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 9:30AM until the hour of service in the funeral home. A Funeral Service celebrating Lou’s life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 10:00AM in the funeral home.
