Services will be at 10 AM Monday at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Laura L. Roberts, 50, of Austintown, who died peacefully at home Wednesday January 2, 2008, surrounded by friends and family after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Laura was born in Cleveland, a daughter of Dr. Franklin and Jean (Farrow) Reulbach. She graduated from Bedford High School and attended Ohio University and the University of Arizona. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Richard Marinelli for many years before his retirement. She later worked for Dr. Richard Raggozine in Girard and Dr. P. J. Snyder in Boardman. She had belonged to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown, where she had once been very active, singing in the choir, serving on parish council and serving as president of the IHM Home & School Association. She is survived by her husband, Tim, whom she married Dec. 28, 1985. She leaves two beloved daughters, Brooke and Megan, both at home; three sisters, Lynne (Bob) Shuttera of Delroy, Fla., Susan (Jeff) Mars of Valrico, Fla. and Mary (Al) Herron of Baltimore; two brothers, her twin, Craig, and Paul, both of Bedford; and 10 nieces and nephews. Laura was known for her beautiful smile; her meticulous house and appearance, and her love of flowers. She dedicated her life to her family, especially her two daughters, who were her best friends and confidantes. Friends may call from 1 to 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home, where a service will be at 10 AM Monday. Material tributes can take the form of donations to the Hospice of The Valley.
