Laurence E. Lawn, Jr.

Laurence E. Lawn, Jr., 69, of Mecca, passed away March 22, 2013 at the Autumn Hills Nursing Facility in Niles. He was born in Boardman, OH December 16, 1943, son of Laurence Sr., and Ella (Conn) Lawn. Following his retirement from Packard Electric, Larry enjoyed spending his time playing bingo, and bowling with his family and friends. Larry is survived by one daughter, Lori (Steve) Dunkerton of Mecca; one son Ed (Lori) Lawn of Bristolville; five grandchildren, Adam, Michael, Tyler, Ashley and Nicci; two great grandchildren; one sister, Ella (Michael) Bokor of Warren; two brothers, Gary Lawn of Hanoverton and Wayne Lawn of Hubbard He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis J. Lawn in 2011 and son Lawnie Lawn in 2005 and his parents. A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel 164 N. High St. Cortland, OH 44410. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in the W. Mecca Cemetery.
