Lawrence Bartlebaugh

AUSTINTOWN---Funeral services will be held Noon Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, for Mr. Lawrence Bartlebaugh, 81, formerly of Midlothian Blvd., who passed away Thursday morning at the Ivy Woods Manor. Larry was born June 8, 1922 in McKees Mills, PA. the son of Clyde and Ida Mae (Patterson) Bartlebaugh and had been employed as a hooker for the US Steel, McDonald Works retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Struthers Baptist Tabernacle and had served in the Pacific Theatre with the Army during WWII, receiving the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife, the former Bertha Woodley, one daughter, Wendy Louise Wolfe of Salt Lake City, UT, and a son, William L. Bartlebaugh of Ohio and four grandchildren. Five sisters and four brothers preceded him in death. Friends may call from 11 AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests that material contributions take the form of donations to the church.
