Leland Jack Hoskin

Leland Jack Hoskin, age 89 of Austintown, Ohio died on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at 3:30 AM at the Briarfield Manor. He was born September 21, 1925 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, to the late Leland H. and Annie E. Davis Hoskin. Leland was an honorably discharged US Navy Veteran serving his country during WWII. Mr. Hoskin was a sales representative for Wonder Bread in Youngstown and retired in 1988. He loved to fish in his spare time. Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy Jean Baer, whom he married on May 2, 1947; his children, Thomas Hoskin of Youngstown, David Hoskin of Niles, and Jeffrey Hoskin of Hubbard; 3 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Other than his parents, Leland was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Hoskin. Per Leland's request there will not be any services or calling hours and cremation will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lane Family Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel.
