Memorial services will be 11 am Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Leo Johnson who died Friday morning in Liberty Arms Care Center. Leo was born May 18, 1918 in Parkman, Ohio the son of Harry A. and Clauda (Atwood) Johnson and was a life long area resident. Leo was employed as a steel press operator for Youngstown Welding and Engineering retiring in 1983. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard, Knights of Malta in Warren, Warren Odd Fellows and a WWII Army veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Alice Marie Snyder of Hubbard and his sister Esther Snyder of Newton Falls. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Rice) Snyder whom he married November 27, 1952 and who died February 21, 1995, sisters; Leafa, Edna, Agnes, Ethel, Ina, brother George and son in law Robert L. Snyder. Family and friends may call from 10-11 am Thursday at the funeral home before services. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family.
