Leo Fern Gilmore

Leo Fern Gilmore, 87, of Warren, OH passed away peacefully with family on Sunday morning, March 22, 2009 after a ten month battle with lung disease and pneumonia. Fern was born in Blue Springs, West Virginia; the daughter of the late Stewart Oliver and Pheobe Alma (Conrad) Riggleman. She was a homemaker and loved her home and flowers but most of all, her life and love were her children and grandchildren. Fern was preceded in death by husbands Sherwood Sherman Snyder and Robert Lee Gilmore, by a daughter Shirley Fern Bumgardner, and sisters Lillian Hammrick and Mona Ray. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her daughters Imogene "Jeanne" Triplett of Vienna, WV, Sharon L. Gilmore of Cortland, and Joyce (Tom) Corsatea of Warren, six grandchildren; Crystal and Aaron Corsatea of Warren, Amanda Vaughn of Hubbard, Mellissa Barshney of Euclid, Deborah (Tom) Menza of Colorado Springs, CO, and Valori (Dennis) Cable of Golden Valley, AZ, four great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren, a sister Lenora Irene (Lehman) Channell of Vienna, WV, five generations of nieces and nephews, and by her collie mix "Lady". Family and friends will be welcomed Wednesday evening from 5 to 7PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel and Thursday morning from 10 to 11AM. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Oakwood cemetery.
