Leona M Homlitis

Leona M. Homlitas, 86, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Gillette's Nursing Home. She was a resident of the Clearview Lantern Suites in Champion. Born November 3, 1922 in Canton she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Ruth M. (Cooper) Miller. Leona was a homemaker. She is survived by a son Paul Adam Homlitas of Portland, OR, a grandson, two granddaughters, two brothers, Arthur Miller of Westminster, MD and Paul Miller of Bristolville, and two sisters, Daisy Payne of Garrison, TX and Ruth Dugan of Youngstown. She was preceded in death in 1996 by her husband Paul Homlitas whom she married in 1948, by a son Jackie, and by four brothers and two sisters. According to Leona's wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel.
