Sharpsville Lila M. Brown, 70, passed away Friday afternoon, August 29, 2014, at her residence. Lila was born in Sharon, PA, on February 23, 1944, a daughter of Edward and Linnia (Ryhal) Sorg. She was a 1962 graduate of Brookfield High School. On September 25, 1976, she married her husband Thomas Brown. She was a member of The Salvation Army in Sharon, PA. Lila dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and cooking. Lila will be missed by her husband, one son; Marshall Blaire and his wife Laura of Hermitage, PA, three daughters; Crystal Baez and her husband Sam of Masury, Melissa Logan of Sharpsville, and Erin Kushner and her husband Chris of Masury, eleven grandchildren; Todd and Devin Jones, Kristen Means, Kassandra Baez, Calib and Christian Blaire, Callie Lattyak, Cailen and Evan Blaire, and Christopher and Donavan Kushner, seven great-grandchildren, and one brother Edward Sorg, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Jamestown, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son in law, Richard Logan. Funeral services for Lila will be on Tuesday September 2, 2014, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel, 6923 Warren Sharon Road in Brookfield at 12:00PM officiated by Captains David and Kristen Means of The Salvation Army. Friends and family may call two hours prior to the service. Internment will take place at Brookfield Township Cemetery. Lila requested that a book be donated to any local library in her memory.
