Lillian G. Barnes, 88, of Howland Twp., died Sunday evening, October 16, 2005 at 11:07PM at her residence after a short illness. Born September 2, 1917 in Mount Pleasant, PA she was the daughter of James I. and Ida M.(Snyder) Lopes. A homemaker, she was a member of Brethran Church in Pennsylvania. She married Lewis C. Barnes January 11, 1936. He preceded her in death February 12, 1989. She is survived by two sons Donald E. of West Farmington, Wilbur E.(Betty) of Locust, NC, four daughters Audrey J.(Bill)Leapline of Warren, Lee M. Hughes of Sebring, Nancy L.(Ron) Sanor of Salem, Bonnie L.(Jim)Diglaw of Howland Twp., 15 grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren, and numerous great great and step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, a step grandson, a great granddaughter and a great great granddaughter. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 8 PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel and for one hour prior to the funeral service. The Rev. William Simanovich will conduct a funeral service on Thursday at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Sebring.
