Lillian L. Turner passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center early Tuesday morning. She was 93. Lillian was born November 1, 1912 in Youngstown a daughter of the late James H. and Sarah Harris Rowbotham. She had worked at the snack bar in Camelot Lanes for 12 years, was a member of Women in the Moose #817 and enjoyed bingo and playing cards with her ladies. Her husband, William Kendall Turner, whom she married April 7, 1935, passed away June 27, 1972. Lillian is survived by a son Kendall H. (Kathleen) Turner of Cape Coral, FL; two half brothers Bert Rowbotham of FL, and Albert Rowbotham of Sandusky; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, her step mother Ruth Rowbotham; three daughters: Paulette McCabe, Nola Jean Turner and Marlene Turner; three sisters: Thelma Jenkins, Rachel Owens, and Lavina Rowbotham; and three brothers James, Arthur, and Donald Rowbotham precede Lillian in death. There will be a funeral service held 10 AM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where friends may call from 5-8 PM Thursday. Contributions may be made to any organization in Lillian’s name.
