Lillian M. Ondreko

June 22, 1925 — March 1, 2010

Canfield- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at the Berlin Center United Methodist Church for Lillian Ondreko who died Monday morning after a courageous four month battle with brain cancer. Lillian was born June 22, 1925 in Marion, Ohio the daughter of Floyd and Christine (Neidhart) Folk. Lillian was a long time resident of Berlin Center moving to Canfield in 2008. Lillian was a member of the church, Historical Society of Berlin Center, Widows Club of Berlin Center and the United Methodist Church Beulah Circle. She enjoyed canning, gardening, baking and most of all enjoyed helping raise her two grandsons. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Jo Bush (David Pallo) of Canton, GA., Karen (Raymond) Skerkavich of Canfield and two grandsons, Joseph and Matthew Lilly. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Ondreko Jr. whom she married June 27, 1947 and who died August 26, 1992. They are now "Together again." She was also preceded by three sisters and two brothers. The Ondreko family would like to thank the staff of the 1100 and therapy units of Beeghly Oaks for the "special care" given to mom during her stay. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel and from 12:30 to 1:00 pm Thursday at the church prior to services.
