Graveside services will be held at 11:45am Thursday at the Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown for Linda J. Vinion, 62, who died Thursday morning at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born November 18, 1947 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Marguerita (Magnelli) Fossesca, and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1965 graduate of The Rayen School and she also attended Youngstown State University. She worked as a Behavioral Specialist for the Mahoning county MRDD for 32 years before retiring in 2002. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Youngstown where she was active in the St. Monica and Mother of Crucifix Guilds. She also enjoyed camping with her husband and playing cards with her dear friends. She married Richard L. Vinion May 26, 1973 and he preceded her in death November 7, 2007. She is survived by two sisters; Marlene (James) Carney of Boardman and Jacqueline (Joseph) Haus, also of Boardman. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, whom she thought of as her own children. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
