Austintown- A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Thursday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Linda Lee Kikta who died Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Linda was born July 17, 1942 in Washington PA. the daughter of Benjamin and Birdie (Moritz) Amon and came to this area as a child. Linda was a member of Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church and had been employed as a sales associate for Austintown Hill’s and Ames store. She enjoyed playing Bingo, loved to travel to Windsor Canada and especially loved to roller-skate. She also enjoyed bowling having bowled in the Sunday Night Mixers League at Wedgewood Lanes. Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years Paul J. Kikta whom she married September 28, 1963, children; Paula (Brad) Hicks of Canton , Michele (James) Murphy of Austintown , Paul Michael (Nicole) Kikta of Charlotte N.C., grandchildren Tori and Jacob Hicks, Brittany, Angela and Tyler Murphy, Katerina, Kaeleigh and Kody Kikta, and her sister Gloria McNally of Youngstown. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
