Linda M. Barker

WARREN: Linda M. Barker, age 66 passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital Medical Center, Main Campus, Youngstown, Ohio. Linda was born on October 21, 1948 in Weston, West Virginia to parents Voyle M. and Amy E. (Linger) Mitchell. Linda married Jerry G. Barker, Jr., on November 12, 1966 and together they shared 48 years of blessed marriage and had four wonderful children. Linda was a homemaker and her family was her life. Spending time with them was her favorite thing to do. She loved playing with her grandchildren and enjoyed working on the ipad and computer. Survivors include her husband, sons; David L. Barker, (Sharon Twp.), Michael A. Barker, (Champion), Matthew S. (Alicia) Barker, (Hilliard), daughter; Amy A. (George) Bulick (Negley,), brothers; Howard (Doris) Mitchell, (Clarksburg, WV), Jim Mitchell, (Huntington, WV), Tom (Lana) Mitchell, (Berlin, WV), Charlie (Roberta) Mitchell, (Huntington, WV), sister; Shirley (Glen) Maley, (Clarksburg, WV), and eleven grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Gene Mitchell, two sisters; Katie White and Geraldine Taylor. Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel from 11:00am-1:00pm. Funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Lordstown Cemetery.
