Lois G. Costea

Lois Georgia Costea 44, of Masury, passed away peacefully following an extended illness Friday morning September 2, 2011 at Alleghany General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Costea was born on October 5, 1966 in Sharon, PA the daughter of George and Karlene (Donaldson) Sotus. Lois was a 1985 Alumna of Sharon High School and had attended Youngstown State University while studying with the nursing program. She had worked at various positions at both Daffins and Philadelphia Candies during the past fifteen years. Lois loved traveling with her husband, collecting Beanie Babies, reading Stephen King novels, and spending time with her cat "Eightball". Lois married the love of her life Charles A. Costea on March 20, 1998 and he survives at home. Also surviving are her beloved family; step-son Charlie Costea, her step-daughter Nicole Costea, her father George Sotus; her brother Alex Sotus and his wife Annette; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceeded in death by her mother Karlene in 2007. The Rev. Father Constantine Valantasis will conduct private funeral services on Wednesday morning September 7, 20011 at the Madasz Funeral Chapel in Brookfield, OH. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Hermitage, PA
