Lois J Fink

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Lois J. Fink who passed away Tuesday morning at Northside Medical Center. Lois was born April 12, 1927 in Youngstown a daughter of the late Rutledge J. and Lorain E. (Monnin) Cox. She was a devout Baptist and member of the former Youngstown Baptist Church. Lois was a trained operatic singer performing at many community events and weddings. She was a Registered Nurse for many years working at several local hospitals and nursing homes. She served as secretary for the Mahoning Valley Chapter of the World War II POWS, loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, and baking, but most of all loved spending time with her family and attending their activities. She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert Fink, whom she married August 26, 1949; four children: Beatrice (Lynn) Jones of Berlin Center, Robert (Debra) Fink Jr. of Niles, Aprile (Mark) Hoffman of Newton Falls, and Larry (Kathy) Fink of South Gate, MI; one sister Eileen Bowser of Austintown; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Lois is preceded in death by a sister Dolors Noll. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of the services Saturday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
