Loretta M Yanta

Loretta M. (Palen) Yanta, 89, of Warren passed away Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2011 at St. Joseph Health Center. Born July 21, 1921 in Jackson, MI, she was the daughter of the late Frank Jankoswki and Helena (Chilinski) Palen. Loretta was a 1939 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was a homemaker and a past member of St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death in 1991 by her husband William Joseph Yanta whom she married October 2, 1942. Loretta is survived by a son Dennis (Michele) Yanta of Houston, TX, granddaughter, Sarah Stepke of Portland, OR and grandson, Justin Yanta of Pflugerville, TX, four great grandchildren, Adaryn and Olwen Yanta and Petra and Anessa Stepke, and two sisters, Virginia Rumancik and Estella Wilthew both of Warren. She was preceded in death by a brother Walter Palen. According to Loretta's wishes, cremation has taken place. Rev. Charles Crumbley will conduct a memorial service Tuesday morning, January 25, 2011 at 11AM in the chapel at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel.
