Lorraine E. Mcgrew

AUSTINTOWN---There will be funeral services held at 1 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Lorraine E. McGrew, 81, who passed away Saturday evening at her residence. Lorraine was born April 10, 1922 in Mandan, ND, the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Skalski) Schmidt. She had been a Registered Nurse working at the Harrison Memorial Hospital in Washington State retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and enjoyed playing Bingo. Her husband, Thomas A. McGrew, who she married in March of 1955, died in April of 1978. She is survived by a daughter, Tanya (Don) Vittorio and son, Jerry McGrew both of Austintown, two sisters, Agnes Marirch of Anaconda, Montana and Florence Ternes of Kennewick, Wash. two brothers, Larry Schmidt of Kennewick, Wash and Richard Schmidt of Idaho., 5 grandchildren Octavia Craig of Bremerton, Wash, Joshua Lipe and Shaun Lipe of Austintown, Britt’Nei McGrew and Jerrod McGrew of Twin Falls, Idaho, and three great-grandchildren Abby Craig and Preston Craig, both of Bremerton, Wash, and Cheyenne Lipe of Austintown, Besides her husband, two sisters, Irene Larson and Ann Marie Ostafin and two brothers, Leo and Nick Schmidt preceded her in death. Friends may call from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Gentlemen having the honor of being pallbears are, Joshua, Shaun and Terry Lipe, Sean Williams, Mike Fox and Lou Brown. The burial will take place in Bremerton, Wash.
