Louella A. Rehlinger of Canfield passed away Saturday morning at 6:35 AM at Hospice House due to a lengthy illness. Louella was born July 20, 1942 in Youngstown the daughter of James W. and Annabelle (Lingnhiem) Smart and was a lifelong area resident. She was a housewife and homemaker. She leaves her husband Andrew Rehlinger, whom she married October 22, 1965, five children; Bill Larson and his wife Lisa of Austintown, Connie Wilson of Boardman, June Brindle and her husband Ken of Poland, Eric Rehlinger and his wife Sheila of Lake Milton, and Nancy Rehlinger of Canfield. Louella also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Dana, Brant, Amanda, Dillon, Lea, and Christoph, as well as 2 brothers; James and Delbert, and 2 sisters Judy and Dihann. Besides her parents, Louella is preceded in death by a brother; James W. Jr. and a sister; Sandy Hoffman. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request material tributes take the form of donations to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association in Louella’s name.
