Myrtle Louise Beda – 70 Austintown—A memorial service will be at 8 pm Thursday evening at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Myrtle Louise Beda, 70, of Austintown who passed away Sunday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Louise was born October 16, 1933 in Youngstown the daughter of Francis and Laura (Ernst) Coriston. She was a graduate of Chaney High School class of 1952. Louise worked for the Mahoning County Nutrition Program for twenty years retiring in 1994. She was a former member of Mahoning United Methodist Church, a member of the Red Hats Society in Texas, and enjoyed traveling and making crafts for many years. Louise leaves her husband William Beda II whom she married October 24, 1953, three sons; William III (Nancy) of Boardman, Thomas A. (Judith) of Traverses Florida, and David of Austintown, and three grandsons. She also leaves three sisters; Jean Check of Austintown, Norma Fentules of Niles and Sandra Balog of Salem, and four brothers; Jay Coriston of North Lima, Charles Coriston of Youngstown, John and Robert Coriston both of Austintown. Besides her parents a brother George Coriston precedes Louise in death. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests material tributes take the form of donations to the church.
