AUSTINTOWN—Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Lucille E. Ziccardi of Austintown who died Friday evening at Forum Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Ziccardi was born May 1, 1922 in Struthers, the daughter of Carmine and Adeline ( Greco) Phillips. Her husband, Michael J. Ziccardi, whom she married in 1958, preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and the AARP. She had taught ceramics and belonged to the Akron China Painting Club and the mud Hens Ceramic Club. She graduated from Struthers High School in 1940 where she was a member of the National Honor Society and won awards in archery. Three sons, David A. Pickens of Berlin Center, William L. Pickens of Cincinnati and Dino M. Ziccardi of Austintown survive Mrs. Ziccardi. Sisters, Vera Compton of New Springfield, Nora Greco of Plantation, FL., Ida Hites of Miami, FL., Mary LaBrie of Mansfield, one brother, James Phillips of Butte, Montana, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive her. Two brothers, John and Bill Phillips preceded her in death. Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM Monday before services at the funeral home.
