Lucy E. Clay

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 1:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Lucy E. Clay of Salem who passed away Sunday evening at Essex Nursing Home in Salem. Mrs. Clay was born October 18, 1915 in Goshen Township the daughter of Earl and Florence (Greasel) Baird. Lucy was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning and Columbiana County area and was a retired baker. She was a member of the Calla Evangelical Community Church and enjoyed gardening and painting. Mrs. Clay leaves her son Roger Hammond and his wife Patricia of Aromas, CA as well as a grandson Kelly. She also leaves a sister Ethel Yaeger of Salem and many nieces and nephews in the surrounding community. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, April 17th.
