Lyle Norman Nevin

Lyle N. Nevin, 93 of Niles, died Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Hospice House of Poland following a brief illness. Lyle was born on October 4, 1922 in Jamestown, PA a son of the late Arden and Margret (Bell) Nevin. Lyle proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country for two years during WWII. He worked for Youngstown Steel Car and Grinnell as a welder for over 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, taking trips to the casino and his pets. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Indians fan. He will be sadly missed by his two children; Linda Rakich of Niles and Tom Nevin of Niles, who he made his home with and five grandchildren. Besides his parents Lyle was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life Iva (Williams) Nevin. Iva died on March 26, 1992 they were married for 50 years. He was also preceded in death by two daughters; Mary Lee Emch and Phyllis Stevens, two brothers Gene and Harold Nevin and a sister Ruth Britton. Private services were held and care was entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel
