Lynette Renee Cunningham

Deerfield- Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Lynette Cunningham who died Saturday evening at her residence after a courageous battle against cancer. Lynette was born May 14, 1957 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Dean Lamar and Ruth Virginia (Shotts) McMahan and was a life long area resident. Lynette was employed as a secretary for the Portage County Sheriffs department for 15 years. She was a member of Wickcliffe Christian Church, graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1975 where she played in the concert and marching band, and she loved to read, travel, crochet and collect Boyd’s Bears. She is survived by her husband Arthur Brennen Cunningham whom she married January 7, 1977, children; Faith Ann (Cunningham) Hall of Ravenna, James Brennen Cunningham of Deerfield, sisters; Jacqueline (McMahan) Nolder, Gwendolyn (McMahan) Davis both of Austintown, brother Drew Carlisle McMahan of Campbell and her granddaughter Jasmine Danelle Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother Margaret (Shrum) McMahan and her son in law Kevin Lee Hall. Family and friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday and from 12 -1 pm Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial donations take the form of donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
