Lynn E. Hawley, Jr.

Lynn E. Hawley, Jr., of 4920 Warren-Sharon Rd., Vienna, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord at 2:50 PM Thursday at home following a brief illness. He was 61. Mr. Hawley was born in Warren, Ohio on August 7, 1943, a son of Lynn E. Sr. and Elsie G. (Loyd) Hawley. He was a graduate of Vienna High School, and attended Youngstown University. Lynn was the founder/operator of Hawley Landscape, Inc., Vienna for over 45 years. He was highly involved in many churches and ministries over the years. He founded Abundant Blessings Ministry which supports missions throughout the world and provides ministry to unwed mothers. He also served since 1988 on the Board of Trustees of Believers’ Christian Fellowship, Howland. Survivors include: wife, Elizabeth M. (Brown) Hawley, whom he married 12-14-1974; 4 sons, Lynn E. Hawley, III & his wife Anita, Brookfield, OH, Todd Hawley, Reston VA,& daughter-in-law, Judith, Bethesda, MD, Gary Hawley & Adam Hawley, both of Vienna; 1 daughter, Lisa Scarnecchia, Vienna; 1 brother, Thomas E. Hawley & his wife Darlene, Chagrin Falls, OH; 7 Grandchildren and a father-figure to many of whom he cared for. He was preceded in death by: his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the church, with Rev. Joseph Cameneti, Pastor. Calling hours will be from 4-8 PM Monday & one hour prior to the service Tuesday, both also at church. Burial will be in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
