Lynn Mauch

Funeral services will 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Lane Family Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel for Lynn Wilhelm Mauch, 60, of Ellsworth. Lynn endured a six year battle with cancer before succumbing to the disease and the side effects of the treatment early Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus. Lynn was born July 14, 1951 in Monroe, Michigan, a daughter of the late George and Alice Coffey Jones. She graduated from Canfield High School in 1969 and had attended YSU. Lynn was a "Nordie Girl" working at Nordstroms in Beachwood, Ohio in the Women's Shoe Department for over 14 years. She was of Christian Faith and had enjoyed flower gardening. Lynn leaves her husband, Richard Mauch, Sr. whom she married March 24, 2007; a daughter, Erica Wilhelm (Jeb Adle) of Carlsbad, California; a step-daughter, Tracie (John) Yarrison of Ellsworth; a step-son, Richard (Erin) Mauch, Jr and their sons, Wilson and Theodore Mauch all of Franklinton, North Carolina her aunts, Aunt Donna, Aunt Florence; her uncle, Uncle Jack, her late brother Robert's family and close friends including her special classmates of CHS who came to help and comfort in Lynn's time of need. Besides her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Jones. Friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Walter coy who also married Richard and Lynn five years ago. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown, the SICU Unit and Dr. Waggoner and his staff at University Hospital (Seidman Cancer Center), the sixth floor nurses at Seidman, Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House, the Ellsworth Fire Department and the staff and students at UPLC.
