Lynn Mocker -- 94 Canfield Services will be held 2 PM Monday at the Chapel in Calvary Cemetery for Lynn Mocker, 94 formerly of Fairway Drive in Canfield who passed away Wednesday morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boardman Campus. Mrs. Mocker was born December 8, 1919 in Youngstown the daughter of the late Ralph and Jenny (Belmont) Masto. Lynn was a graduate of Youngstown University and did graduate work at Ohio State University. She was an Artist and a Teacher with the Youngstown City Schools, Springfield Schools, and Youngstown State University retiring in the 70's. Among the many organizations Lynn was a part of, she worked on the production staff of the Youngstown Playhouse, a volunteer at Riverside Gardens, a member of the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, the Who's Who of Outstanding Secondary Teachers in America, the Delta Epsilon Honoree Society of Youngstown University. Lynn was also a member of the American Association of University Women; the Mahoning Valley Teachers Society and a life member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. Mrs. Mocker was also an art supervisor at the Butler Institute of American Art as well as a member of St. Michael Church in Canfield. Lynn leaves one sister Mary Jane Dorazio of Boardman, her niece and caregivers Megan Masto Rossi and Marc Masto as well as other family members and friends. Besides her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Joseph N. Mocker, whom she married August 25, 1951. He passed away January 28, 1992. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Louis Masto, and one sister, Evelyn Kinko. Family and friends may call from 1:30 PM until the time of services at the chapel in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
