Maggie L. Birtalan --87 Austintown—Services will be at 11 AM Monday in Austintown Baptist Church for Maggie L. Birtalan 87 of Minerva Ohio, formerly of Austintown who passed away early Friday morning in Minerva Elder Care Center. Maggie was born September 14,1916 in Garetta, GA the daughter of William Frank and Alma (Davidson) Cooper. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a member of the church. Her husband the late Andrew Birtalan, whom she married August 15, 1942, passed away July 25,1990. Maggie leaves a daughter Shirley (Bill) Stack of Minerva, a son Andrew F. Birtalan of Austintown, five grandchildren; Cindy Stack, Melonie (Dave) Garrett, and Bill Stack Jr. all of Minerva, and Frankie and Brian Birtalan of Canton, and six great grandchildren; Dustin Stack, Cru and Brent Garrett all of Minerva, Jessica, Frankie, and Jarred Birtalan of Canton. Besides her husband and parents, two sisters Sara Jingles and Audrey Barrow also precedes Maggie in death. Family and friends may call from 3 to 5 PM Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
