Marcia L. Cooper

Memorial services will be held at 1pm Saturday, January 8th at Shiloh Ministries Church, 1310 Shannon Rd., in Girard for Marcia L. Cooper, 77, who died early Christmas morning with her loving husband by her side at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born November 2, 1933 in Youngstown, a daughter of Alfred and Mildred (Witherstein) Greier, and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1950 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and she spent her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. Marcia was a kind and loving lady and will sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bruce G. Cooper, whom she married October 10, 1953. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Walter Perez and Kayla Perez; and two great grandchildren; Devin and Cameron Perez. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Paulette D. Anderson; a son, Gary B. Cooper; and two brothers; Richard and Jerry Greier. Friends may call for one hour prior to services from noon to 1pm Saturday in the church.
