Margaret Ann Kadvan, age 95 of Warren died Wednesday morning, August 25, 2010, at Haven Hospice House in Gainesville, Florida. She was born November 5, 1914 in Johnstown, Pa., the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Bercan Pavline. Margaret had worked for Sunlight Electric in the past, was a homemaker all of her married life and was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Warren. She was a member of the SNPJ (Slovenian) Lodge in Imperial, Pa. and enjoyed football, especially attending high school football games. She loved spending time with her family. Margaret enjoyed gardening and tending to her house plants and also enjoyed her conversations with Dave, her mobile meals volunteer. Margaret was preceded in death in 2004 by her husband, Joseph G. Kadvan, whom she married June 13, 1942. One sister, Christine L. McKinley also preceded her in death in 2008. Surviving are one son, Richard J. Kadvan of Champion Twp.; one daughter, Linda A. (Richard) DuCharme of Gainesville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jason K. (Rochelle) Kadvan of Vienna and Stacy L. (Brandon) Munroe of Champion and one great granddaughter, Samantha Lynn Munroe. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 30, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Warren with Rev. Charles W. Crumbley celebrating the mass. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta Twp.
