Margaret Peg Patterson

Austintown- Funeral services will be at 10 am Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Margaret Patterson of Austintown who died Thursday morning at the Humility House. Margaret was born October 3, 1908 in Frostburg, Maryland the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Taylor) Timmons. Peg was a member of Mahoning United Methodist Church, and retired in 1969 as a Mahoning County Teacher. She graduated from Kent State University and attended Youngstown State. She is survived by her children; George A. (Jill) Patterson, Norma J. (Richard) Olson, Carole J. Goedecker all of Austintown, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Monte Patterson whom she married in 1929 and who died in 1972, sisters, Wilhelmina Milliron, Caroline Kane and her son in law Ronald Goedecker. Family and friends may call from 4-7 pm Friday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to the Mahoning United Methodist Church.
