Margaret R. Emick, 69 Canfield: Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17th at Lane Famly Funeral Home, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel for Margaret R. Emick, 69 who died Friday afternoon at her residence after a six year battle with cancer. Margaret was born October 22, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Margocs) Personey and came to this area in 1971 from Broadview Heights. Margaret was a homemaker and a former member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where she had taught CCD for several years. She had been a Canfield Youth Soccer coach and loved to shop and attend craft shows. Margaret enjoyed boating and fishing at Roaming Shores Lake with her family. She also loved traveling with her family throughout the United States, especially to the East Coast in the fall. She leaves her husband, David L. Emick whom she married April 23, 1966; her son, Scott (Tracyle) Emick of Cleveland, Two daughters, Deanne (Bruce) Lamb of Canfield, Terese "Teri" (Shawn) Miller of Austintown; 10 grandchildren, Andrea, Ryan, Rachel, Gavin, Preston, Addison, Brandon, Christopher, David and Miranda. Margaret also leaves a sister, Fran (George) Habaly of Florida, a brother, Jim (Rose) Personey of Cleveland and her beloved dog, Cocoa. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel and on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at 11:00 a.m.
