Margareta Denovchek Terleski, 83; with her famly at her bedside and the Lord in her heart, died in Dallas, Texas, on Wednesday April 25, 2012. Margaret was born August 17, 1928 in Clymer Pennsylvania, the eleventh of twelve siblings, her father was Peter "Paps" and mother Anna Fetchin Denovcheck. She attended Warren G Harding High School and graduated at 16 in 1944. Margaret married her beloved spouse, John Terleski (1921-1973) in 1948. Margaret called Clymer, Warren, Cortland, Colorado Springs, Gilroy California, and Dallas Texas home. She worked in sales, banking, real estate, and operated an elderly care home. Baptized in the Russian Orthodox church, Margaret was a member of the Cortland United Methodist Church and Opal Chapter No. 181 Order of the Eastern Star in Cortland. She was a music lover and a Texas Rangers fan. Margaret lived life with spirit, courage and persistence. She will be especially remembered as a tireless mother, grandmother, mentor, confidant, and caregiver for the many lives she touched. She is survived by her four sons, Jay (Sharon), Tom (Doty), Tim (Kristin) and Brian Terleski and her grandchildren Jonathan, Kyle, Kaitlin, Rylan and Halley. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 7, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland, where the family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
