Margaret W. Schrum

Austintown- Memorial services will be held 11 AM Tuesday (May 16) at Austintown Community Church for Margaret W. Schrum age 87 of Humility House formerly of Lexington Place in Austintown who died Wednesday evening at Humility House. Margaret was born Sept. 12, 1918 in Youngstown and was the daughter of the late John and Laura (Clark) Eichorn. She was a member of Austintown Community Church for over 50 years where she was active in the sewing circle and helped serve the Kiwanis luncheons. She had been a 4-H advisor, a member of the Mahoning County extension and the Auxiliary Youngstown and Northern Railroad. She also enjoyed loving her grandchildren and doing things with them. She is survived by her husband Paul Schrum whom she married Dec. 23, 1939. She also leaves a daughter Judy Davis of Wooster, a son Paul “Butch” Schrum of Berlin Center, four grandchildren, Jeffrey T Schrum, Lori Kalentis, Jennifer L. Casanta, Tricia Davis Conner and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers John, Clark, Donald Eichorn, a sister Dora Mongelluzzo and a half sister Augusta Allen. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. The family requests that material contributions be made to the church.
