Margherita Scardina

Services will be 1:30 pm Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Margherita Scardina, 79, of Austintown who passed away Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Austintown ER. She was born August 7, 1926 in Youngstown, the daughter of Cono and Frances (Vallera) Agnesi and was a life long area resident. She was a graduate of East High School and also of Youngstown Business College. Marguerite worked as the Bookkeeper for Scardina Inc. until her retirement in 1987. Margherita was a protestant by faith. Her husband Pete P. Scardina whom she married July 5, 1947 passed away in April 2003. She leaves her three children; Paul F. Scardina of Portland OR, Niki Worton of Lindsay Ontario, and Patric Scardina of Barcelona Spain, two brothers; Paul and Joseph Agnesi both of Youngstown and two grandchildren Mikol and Alex. Besides her husband, Margherita is preceded in death by two brothers; Anthony and Nick Agnesi and three sisters; Clara Colucci, Angeline Pagani, Mary Jo Credico. Family and friends may call from 12:30 pm until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
