Marguerite Elizabeth Williams

Marguerite E. Williams -- 86 Marguerite Elizabeth Williams of Mineral Ridge died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Health Center. She was born March 4, 1918, in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Gordon and Hazel Dorsey Warwick. Marguerite attended Bellaire High School and Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing. She was the head of medical records at Hillside Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Ida McKinley Chapter 42 of the Eastern Star and past Noble Grand of the Rebecca Lodge. She was an avid golfer. Her husband Walter E. (Happy) Williams, whom she married in 1938, died in 1988. She leaves a son Walt (Laurie) Williams of Mineral Ridge; a daughter Peggy (Bill) Miller of Mineral Ridge; six grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Michelle (Dr. Scott) Hayes of Erie, PA; Jamie (Ericka) Williams of Austintown; Rob (Jessica) Hively; Becky Hively; and Ryan (Niki) Hively, all of North Jackson; and Will Miller of Athens, OH; and two great-grandchildren: Robbie and Tyler. She also leaves a sister, Lois Burkle of Columbus, IN, and two brothers, William Warwick of Roanoke, VA, and Alfred Warwick of Jackson, MI. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel with calling hours one hour prior to the service. Following services, a reception will be held at Theodore;s Banquet Center, Mineral Ridge.
