Marian I. Davis

Mineral Ridge- Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Marian Davis of Mineral Ridge formerly of Austintown who died Monday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Marian was born September 1, 1925 in Braceville the daughter of James W. and Viola (Drake) Atkins and had lived in the area all her life. Marian was a member of Austintown Community Church, American Legion Aux. of Newton Falls and loved to play Bingo and go to Mountaineer Park. Marian is survived by her sons; Gary Gardner of Coshocton and Robert Gardner of Austintown, her fiancée Jim Peace, step children; Leroy Davis in TN., James Davis, Robert Davis, Carol Yarob, Lucille McDougal, Dorothy Spencer all from North Jackson. She is also survived by her sisters; Vera Kraft of Youngstown, Elizabeth Kraft of Austintown, brothers; William Atkins of Champion, James Atkins of Newton Falls, grandchildren; Rebecca and Jeffrey Gardner, Theresa Seruch, great grandchildren Dante and Donovan Seruch, twenty seven step grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Gardner and Vernon Davis and her brother Sam Atkins. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
