Mrs. Marian I. Foster 88, of Niles passed away on Monday August 12, 2013 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren of natural causes. She was born on January 9, 1925 in Bradford, PA the daughter of Wilson M. and Mary (Mattison) Fink. Following graduation from high school, in 1944 Marian enlisted and served with the United States Army during World War II. During her time in the army she met her future husband A.T. Foster and they were married on May 25, 1945. Together they shared nearly forty-seven years of marriage and five daughters Mary Jo, Kitty, Gay Lin, Tammie, and Kelly. Throughout her life Marian was a devoted homemaker and mom, grandma, and great-grandma to her family. In her free time she enjoyed sewing and reading. She leaves behind her daughters Kitty (James Royse) Foster-Pecoraro of Niles, Gay Lin (Pieter) Devos of Corvallis, OR, Tammie Foster of Warren, Kelly (John) Cicero of Niles; eight grandchildren Robbie and Joe D Rein, Jonathon and Zachary Devos, Jeff Pecoraro, Carrie Kristyak, and Danielle and John Cicero and six great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her husband A.T. in 1992, her daughter Mary Jo in 1977, three sisters Helen Stewart, Nora Drake, Lucille Clover, and two brothers Mertin and John Fink. Friends may call on Wednesday August 14, 2013 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Niles Chapel 415 Robbins Avenue Niles, OH. A funeral service will begin at 1:00PM with Celebrant Randi Pappa officiating. Burial will follow at Niles City Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Warren Family Mission in Marian's memory.
