Marie Milania Rubesich

Howland - Marie Milania Lazarevich Rubesich 91, entered into eternal rest 12:28pm Wednesday July 4, 2018 at Hospice House in Poland with her family at her side. Marie was born March 30, 1927 to the late Nikola and Mary (Marenchic) Lazarevich. She was a proud graduate of Warren G. Harding High School class of 1945. Marie married the late Nicholas Rubesich on May 7, 1950. Together they had six children Michael (Marylou) Rubesich, Joanne (Paul) Oliva, John (Laura) Rubesich, Beth (Tom) Hull, Michele (Dan) Ellis, Desane (Jim) Malsch. Marie was blessed to have ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Marie was employed by the Sears Roebuck Company for 31years, retiring in 1991. In retirement she enjoyed gardening, conversing with friends and volunteering at Mobile Meals. Her passion in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending all activities in which her grandchildren participated. Marie was a member of St. Johns Orthodox Church and a former choir member. The Marie Rubesich family would like to thank Dr. William Eddy and his staff for the compassionate care they provided our mother for many years. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday July 7, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church 2200 Reeves Rd. NE Warren, OH where friends may call for one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Jonathan Cholcher will officiate. Interment will follow at Howland Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 2220 Reeves Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
