Marilynn V Ripple

Marilynn V. (Hatfield) Ripple, 82 of Cortland passed away at 4:23pm Tuesday March 3, 2009 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She was born the daughter of the late Darl and Virginia Hatfield in Warren on May 30, 1926. A lifetime area resident, Marilynn graduated from Warren G. Harding High School. She worked at American Welding in the office for 20 years, retiring in 1985. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and was an avid reader. Marilynn is survived by her daughter; Diana "Di" Matijevic of Cortland; grandson Mark Lundy of Austintown, great grandchildren, Matthew, Jenna, and Michael Lundy; a sister Janeanne Cole of Davison, CA; and her "# 2 Daughter," Carol Pennza of Cortland. According to Marilynn's wishes cremation will take place. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Sunday March 8, 2009 at Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel.
