Marion L. Spellman passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 after a brief illness at the age of 88. She was born on January 26, 1926 in Baltimore, MD to the late Leroy and Mary (Knox) Hough. Marion lived and worked in Canfield, OH for most of her life. She was cook for many different places but was most remembered for the twenty-plus years she worked as a head cook at Idle Acres Truck Stop. Marion enjoyed spending time at the internet caf and playing Bingo, but what she loved the most was spending time with her family. Left to mourn Marion's passing are her children, Leroy M. (Donna) Spellman Sr., Frank D. Spellman Sr., Darlene Spellman, and Pamela Anderson; her grandchildren, Leroy Jr., Tammy, Stephanie, Shannon, Teresa, Frank Jr., Matthew, and Amanda; her nine great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Doris Moore, Helena Moore, Betty Baird, Jean Hoprich, Amelia Cox, Eileen Bates, and Shirley Secrest; and her brothers, Arthur and Earl Hough. Marion is preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Spellman; her sisters, June Hart, Annabelle Early, Eleanor Balsley, and Barbara Shelley; and her brothers, Leroy Jr. and Homer Hough. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 27 at 6PM at Upper Room Ministries, 4301 New Rd. in Austintown, Ohio, 44515.
