Marion R. White

Marion R. White, 90, of the Manor at Autumn Hills in Niles died at 4:05 AM Wednesday April 18, 2007 following a short illness. She was born July 14, 1916 in Trenton, NJ the daughter of Sterling and Helen (Kolb) Saxe. She came to Howland Twp. in 1963 and was a devoted homemaker. Marion was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, was an avid bridge player and formerly volunteered at the Trumbull Shrine Club. She was of the United Methodist faith. Her husband, John E. White whom she married Oct.10, 1936 preceded her in death Dec.24, 1992. She is survived by daughters Sandra L. Thompson of Warren Betty Lou Shmidt of Grand Isle, FL, and 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. There are no calling hours. The family will plan a private memorial service at a future date. Roberts-Clark Chapel handled the arrangements.
