Marjorie E Fowler

Vienna- Marjorie E. Fowler, 90, passed away Tuesday morning, January 5, 2016 at her home in Vienna, OH. Marjorie was born on June 7, 1925 in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Fox) Downs. She proudly served her country in the United State Navy until she was honorably discharged on December 15, 1945. She was a homemaker, raising five children with her beloved husband, Charles W. Fowler, whom she married on July 29, 1942. She was an avid sports fan and loved to golf and fish. She also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Nascar. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Marjorie will be deeply missed by her children, Daniel (Suzette) Fowler of Cleveland, OH, Roxanne (Joseph) Manna of Warren, OH, and Gaylan Fowler of Vienna; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Malloy of Columbus, OH; and one brother David (Sue) Downs of Independence, MO. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Fowler who passed away on April 17, 2006; her daughter Kimberly Fowler; her son Randall Fowler; two sisters, Wanda Downs and Barbara Miller; and two brothers, Gene and William Downs. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday January 8, 2016 from 5-7:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel in Brookfield, OH, to celebrate Marjorie's life.
