Marjorie E. Noble, 82 Funeral services will 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, 65 North Broad Street for Marjorie E. Noble, 82 of Berlin Center who died January 1st at her residence. Marjorie was born April 2, 1930 in North Jackson, a daughter of the late Emmanuel B. and Olive Wehr Stryffeler and was a lifelong area resident. Marjorie graduated from Jackson Milton High School, attended Youngstown State University and received her degree in nursing from Akron City Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She had been a registered nurse at Northside Medical Center for 35 years, retiring in 1995. Marjorie was a member of Berlin Center United Methodist Church, the Berlin Center Historical Society, the Ohio Welsh Association, Mahoning Valley Pony Breeders, the American Legion Auxiliary, the American Nurse's Association, the Ohio Nurses Association District 3 and the College of Obstetrics /Gynecology. Marjorie loved to sew, read and watch Duke Basketball. Her greatest joy was showing ponies at local county fairs, especially the Canfield Fair with her family. Besides her husband of 60 years, Richard M. Noble, whom she married October 18, 1952, she leaves her children, Barbara S. Noble of Berlin Center, Thomas E. Noble of Berlin Center, Mark R. Noble of Canfield and Martha R. Noble Cain and her husband, Lonnie of Covington, Ohio; 1 grandson, Adam Noble; 2 granddaughters, Kara Noble and Ellie Cain. Marjorie also leaves 2 brothers, David Stryffeler of Austintown and Dale Stryffeler of Canfield. Besides her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by a brother, Myron Stryffeler. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel. The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the Memorial Fund of Berlin Center United Methodist Church, 1156 11 Akron-Canfield Rd., Berlin Center 44401 or to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman 44512.
