Marjorie L. Wheeler

AUSTINTOWN Marjorie L. Wheeler, 72, passed away October 20, 2014 peacefully at her home. She was born on May 3, 1942 in Stewartsville, Ohio, to the late Edward and Margaret (Spence) Velegolla. Marjorie was a 1960 Bellaire High School graduate. Out of high school she was a telephone operator for Ohio Bell, and in her later years she worked retail for Lowe's in Fremont, Ohio, and for TJ Maxx in Niles. Marjorie's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, reading Amish books, watching TV and movies, shopping, and dining out. Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Shari (Brett Young) Sattig of Stafford, VA, and Traci (Glenn) Williams of McDonald, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Young, Brenden Young, Julia Williams, and Madelyn Williams. Other than her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde T. Wheeler, Jr. whom she married on August 22, 1967, he preceded her on December 9, 2005; and one sister, Helen Howell. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel, at 12 Noon. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services. Inurnment will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or to the Hospice of the Valley in Marjorie's memory.
