Marjorie M. Huxsaw

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday for Marjorie M. Huxsaw of Canfield who passed away Friday evening. Marjorie was born July 3, 1916, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Helen Mary James Mumaw. She graduated from South High School in 1934, and attended the College of Wooster. Mrs. Huxsaw was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was an active participant in the women’s group. She worked as a secretary for Hammar Carpet Cleaners and was also a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Elmer B. Huxsaw whom she married August 27, 1954, and her sister in law and friend, Lois Mumaw. Although Margie had no children of her own she was deeply devoted to her 11 nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews and 12 great great nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly. Marjorie is preceded in death by her brother Atty: James Mumaw. In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley for their new inpatient facility. Arrangements are being handled by Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel.
