Marjorie Viola Ford

Marjorie Viola Ford, 84, of Champion Twp, passed away Wednesday morning, July 6, 2011 at Windsor House of Champion. Born September 9, 1926 in Braceville, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Archie and Lena (Stiefflebeam) Wright. A lifetime area resident, Marjorie retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital where she worked as a nurse's assistant for 30 years. She attended Grace Fellowship Church and enjoyed attending church services, crocheting, shopping and playing Bingo. She was preceded in death in 1998 by her husband, James Arthur Ford whom she married April 26, 1969. Marjorie is survived by five step children; Mrs. Jerry (Shirley) Vance of Valdosta, GA, Mrs. Robert (Delleen) Schwab and Mrs. Ronald (Dianne) Jones both of Champion Twp., Mrs. Joseph (Janice) Kulnis of Lebanon, PA and Mr. James E. (Yvonne) Ford of Fowler, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and a sister Mrs. William (Mildred) Martin of Falling Waters, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Harold Wright. Rev. Charles Kindle will conduct a funeral service at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. where family and friends may visit for one hour prior to the service. Marjorie will be buried beside her husband in Crown Hill Burial Park.
